A: The website migration service offered by Miami Hosting is entirely free of charge and consists of moving all your web files, databases and emails from your current provider to your brand new hosting account with us. We’ll also update all the settings required for your websites to be completely operational on our state–of–the–art cloud hosting platform.Our techs are fully capable of transferring any sort of website. With years of work experience behind their backs, they are experts in the inner workings of our hosting platform, our Control Panel as well as all other famous Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–made web application with multiple custom libraries is as easy as transferring a simple WordPress weblog.

A: While we can’t give you a precise time window, because there are lots of factors, including the size of the files and databases, the physical location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll do our best to move your site within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (when the content is not large).

A: We will require the login information for your current web hosting provider’s Control Panel along with the web site’s name (domain name).

A: Customer privacy is among our chief concerns – that is why, both our payment page and our Control Panel login page are secured with enterprise–class SSL certificates. We use security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, electronic and administrative procedures to secure the data that we accumulate on the Internet. And we’ve also got a detailed and strict Privacy Policy, which specifies the types of information that we collect.

A: Nope. Your website will remain accessible online during the transfer. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we’ll notify you so that you can examine it and check for problems. If everything’s fine, all you will have to do is change your domain name’s DNS records.

A: No. Apart from your login details for the Control Panel, we don’t need anything. We’ll never get in touch with your hosting provider. They won’t know anything about the transfer either.

A: We support all Linux–based web hosting platforms. Basically, if we can obtain access to your Control Panel, we will be able to migrate your site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source website management platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
